Transcultural
Community Health Careroom

The Multicultural Digital Health Room connects local and international supporters to provide culturally sensitive health support—from everyday life to times of disaster. By using remote technologies, we aim to build a sustainable global community where people can connect and support each other beyond national borders.

KOBECCO Nurse

Local students and foreign residents in Kobe work together at community hubs, using SNS and digital tools to offer small but meaningful help across language and cultural divides. This initiative creates a welcoming system that encourages connections and mutual support between new and long-term residents.

Machi-Care Calendar

Since 2022, the Machi-Care Calendar has supported Ukrainian evacuees in Japan by sharing seasonal health tips and everyday life advice. Through web and SNS outreach, the calendar connects people to community events and resources, offering proactive and compassionate care in times of change.

Health Access Network with Diverse Partners

In collaboration with UJ-Bridge, we joined a health screening event for Ukrainian evacuees during the 8th World Society of Disaster Nursing conference in Kobe. Alongside internal checkups, dental and mental health screenings were provided. Nurses offered personalized care based on each individual’s concerns to help ease daily anxieties and support healthier lives.
