EpiNurse Center Nursing Association of Nepal conducted a 3-day “EpiNurse system Orientation and capacity building” workshop from December 15-17, 2017 to equip EpiNurses (ToT group) with ICT knowledge. EpiNurses learned health informatics, data analysis, data organization & sharing of documents. The training camp introduced system application developed for school health nurse. Simulation practice for how the application to be deployed in the field was presented by system developer and the views and opinions were extracted from EpiNurses to ensure validation of data analysis in future. Training was delivered using learning techniques with an emphasis on interactive lectures, group exercises, group brainstorming and group presentation. Training was provided by Nepal, Japan and Philippines IT experts.
